How to play poker and other card games?

I would really like to learn how to play poker!?! Please can someone tell me! Also i would like to know how to play some other card games? Preferibly ones i can play by myself? Thankyou x

well poker is kinda simple… im might go on a bit and probly dont know the terms properly…

right at the start you get 2 cards and you hide these card from EVERY ONE!!!! just look at them once then dont look at them again… then you place bets and then three cards are placed on the table. your cards have to relate to those cards on the table. then you make more bets or Fold.

you can fold at every time its your turn in the game. that includes before any bets are made at the start.

then another card is put on the table along side the others and more bets are placed or you fold. then the final and fith card is placed on the table and you make bets ect.

then the player whos cards makes the highest conection with the ones on the table wins the game. i could go on about them for ages but its better if you figure it out your self or watch others play.

at the start of the game there are blind bids. thats when 2 people, im not sure how they are chosen, place say £2 each. then every one if they wont to stay in either bet £4, raise or Fold. if you bet £4 then the next person chooses ect. if you raise every one else has to pay that amount. thats where you have to make that decision, do you have those cards that will win the game?… especially if its a BIG bet. all the way through the game after new cards are on the table… you get the choice to bet, raise or fold. some times theres some thing called a check. its like a bet without putin any money down.

i hope this helps and is clear. if you have bebo, add me on it (JamieSudz) then i can give you an app. for poker and i can show you how to play from there or you can watch others play and how it works… if you want to learn other games just ask but poker is the one i know best.

good luk and dont pi$$ your money away like i have done in the past!!

How to play poker in online I have net in my home?

Hi friends I didn’t know how to play poker game please tell me how to play in online?

Hand-in-hand with television in the recent surge in popularity of poker is the opportunity to play poker on the Internet. You can find an online poker game any time of the day or night. You can play for free or for real money against players from all over the world. There are thousands of ring games at virtually any level as well as thousands of tournaments ranging in size from ten entrants up to thousands with buy-ins ranging from free up to thousands of dollars. This article will provide an introduction to the fun and possibly profitable world of online poker. Let’s begin with some general information about playing poker online.

How to Play Poker – What I Learned From Poker Stars

How to Play Poker – What I Learned From Poker Stars

By Johnny B. Pineda, Jr.

So, where did my poker tournament strategy begin? With the poker stars, of course. Only natural I suppose, since if I was looking to play poker like the pros, one would find books on poker, or poker books online and poker sites. Amazingly, there is a ton of information out there and plenty of books by the pros.

The rules of poker can be overwhelming at first, especially for a novice. The poker chips, poker rules, betting and pace surely got me confused when I first started, but like anything, the more you do it, the easier it becomes. Texas hold em poker rules don’t easily lend themselves to a strategy, at first, so reading up on how the pros look at it really started to give me an angle.

My confusion came back as I looked into different poker stars and read more and more. After a while I realized that there were too many differing strategies out there. It seems like they would all work for one reason or another. So how was I to craft MY own strategy? Take bits and pieces from each and use what worked for me? I didn’t know what to do, and a confused mind does nothing.

I guess the only consistent thing I was noticing was that there were distinctly different strategies out there that worked for different poker stars. Now what? The best one can hope for is to take bits and pieces from all of them to finally make your own. How long would that take? What kind of guarantee is there? None, as you’d imagine.

Still though, there was a secret that I found, but not before the realization that what I really have learned from the poker stars is that they each created their own distinct winning poker tournament strategy. I also realized that all that reading still hadn’t fully helped me to define my strategy.

So, what did I ultimately do to become a contender? I used the secret. I promise I will detail it next time because the important thing I want to stress about what I did find out about studying the pros is that they are each different with different skills and views and therefore different strategies. Remember that because it’s pivotal!

Until next time, when I tell you in detail what the secret really is! I promise!

How much is a good amount to play with at a live casino poker table?

Never actually been to a casino or played poker in a casino but my local casino has a age of 18 to play and im going for my 18th birthday. how much should i bring to play and how does it work getting the chips?

Usually in a poker room, there will be a cage near the table, you give them the money and get your starting stack there. The dealers don’t have a ton of chips at the table, since the players are playing against each other.

As far as how much at a table, then totally depends on the stakes you are playing.

The No Limit tables will have a maximum that you can bring to the table. Might be 300 at a 1/2 table. Ask before you buy in.
